About: Stefka is a qualified massage therapist. She has qualifications in sports and Swedish massage as well as in The Emmett Technique. She is an EMM-Tech Tutor.
Training: She gained a professional degree from the Sports Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2010. She has also done training in the UK with Ross Emmett on the Emmett Technique.
Approach: Stefka is focused on listening to your body and responding with skilled, thoughtful care. She uses the gentle muscle releases of the Emmett Technique, which is done while you are fully clothed.
Sessions can be provided seated or lying down depending on your comfort, mobility, and preference.
By applying light touch to certain pressure points, your own body is sent signals to release the tension and encourage relaxation and ease of movement.
Many clients notice changes in comfort, ease of movement, or relaxation after a brief session, although responses vary from person to person.
Every body is different. That’s why no two sessions are the same. Treatments are adapted to your comfort level, goals, and how your body responds on the day.
The main aim of the treatments provided is not just temporary relief — but helping your body return to a more natural, comfortable state.
The Emmett Technique is a gentle, complementary therapy performed while you remain fully clothed. It is not a replacement for medical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. Please inform Stefka before your session if you have recent surgery, fracture, acute injury, unexplained pain, active cancer treatment, severe osteoporosis, significant neurological conditions, anticoagulant use, or any other medical concern that may affect treatment.
